Job Purpose To serve as the key point of contact between the organization and external stakeholders including government agencies, regulatory bodies, vendors, and partner institutions. The Liaison Officer ensures smooth communication, compliance, and coordination across all business unitseducational, healthcare, and industrial. Key Responsibilities Healthcare & Education Sector (Hospital, Nursing College, School) Coordinate with government health departments, education boards, and accreditation bodies (e.g., INC, DME, CBSE). Facilitate approvals, inspections, and renewals for licenses, affiliations, and accreditations. Maintain relationships with local authorities for infrastructure, safety, and compliance matters. Assist in organizing audits, inspections, and regulatory visits. Chemical Industry Liaise with pollution control boards, safety regulators, and industrial licensing authorities. Ensure timely submission of compliance reports (e.g., environmental, safety, labor). Facilitate communication with suppliers, logistics partners, and industrial associations. Support in obtaining permits for manufacturing, storage, and transport of chemicals. General Duties Across All Units Act as a bridge between internal departments and external agencies. Track and manage documentation for legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance. Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and negotiations. Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business and advise management. Build and maintain relationships with government officials, consultants, and community leaders. Qualifications & Skills Any Bachelor Degree Minimum 5 years of experience in liaisoning roles, preferably in multi-sector organizations. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in education, healthcare, and industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities across diverse business units. Proficiency in local language and English; familiarity with government protocols. Work Environment Frequent travel to government offices, regulatory bodies, and partner institutions. Office-based with field visits as required. May require working beyond regular hours during audits or inspections.
