Makeup Trainer

Role Overview:

LivArt Beauty Academy is seeking a skilled and passionate Makeup Trainer to join our faculty. In this role, you will be responsible for grooming the next generation of makeup artists by delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training. You will also play a key role in curriculum development and supporting the academy’s marketing initiatives through demos and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery (Theory & Practical)

• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for students in the Department of Makeup.
• Teach various makeup techniques ranging from basic grooming to advanced bridal, cinematic, and high-fashion looks.
• Ensure all courses are completed on time and with high professional standards.
• Supervise student practice sessions and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

2. Content & Curriculum Development

• Create and update training manuals, presentation decks, and visual aids for new and existing courses.
• Collaborate with other trainers to ensure the curriculum stays current with industry trends.
• Design and deliver content for online courses and webinars to expand the academy's digital reach.

3. Student Assessment & Reporting

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports of work done in the format prescribed by the Academy.
• Ensure students maintain their practical records and portfolios.

4. Marketing & Outreach Support

• Represent the academy in sales and marketing campaigns.
• Travel across Kerala may be required to conduct workshops, seminars, or makeup demonstrations to attract prospective students.
• Participate in academy events and promotional activities as a subject matter expert.

Requirements:

• Experience: * Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Makeup Trainer OR * 5+ years of active industry experience as a Professional Makeup Artist.
• Certification: Diploma or Certification in Cosmetology, Makeup Artistry, or a related field.
• Language Skills: * Malayalam: Mandatory (Fluent).
• English: Good communication skills required.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Bridal, Cinematic, and Creative Makeup. Ability to manage a classroom and mentor students.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel for academy promotions and work on flexible schedules during peak workshop seasons.

• Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹28,000 per month (Based on experience and skills).
