About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Discuss desired looks and preferences with clients 2. Understand the theme or concept of the photoshoot 3. Assess the client's skin type, tone, and features for appropriate product selection 4. Apply makeup tailored to photography lighting, style, and theme 5. Use high-definition and long-lasting products suited for photography 6. Ensure makeup enhances the client's features and avoids flashback or harsh reflections 7. Provide basic to advanced hair styling to complement the makeup and shoot theme 8. Maintain hairstyles during the shoot 9. Coordinate with photographers, stylists, and directors to align on the desired visual outcome 10. Adapt makeup styles to lighting, camera angles, and artistic direction 11. Stay on set to monitor the client's appearance 12. Perform touch-ups as needed due to lighting changes, perspiration, or wardrobe adjustments 13. Maintain cleanliness of brushes, tools, and makeup products 14. Use sanitary practices to prevent skin irritation or allergic reactions 15. Arrive punctually and complete makeup within scheduled timeframes 16. Manage time effectively to avoid delays in the shoot schedule 17. Assist in removing makeup if needed 18. Provide product recommendations for clients interested in replicating the look 19. Keep up with trends in beauty, makeup products, and photography styles 20.
