In this role, you will work on complex and distributed software, develop and debug software products, implement features, and contribute to ensuring product quality. As a member of the Development team, you will be responsible for independently designing and implementing features that meet customer needs within specified timelines. You will have the opportunity to work across product lines and collaborate with other BMC products. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in Java on different OS platforms, with Linux being primary. You should be proficient in Java language and Java backend programming, with knowledge of JSON, SQL, and XML libraries. Additionally, familiarity with front-end programming languages such as Angular, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML is required. Experience with databases, build systems, version control tools, and other relevant technologies is essential. Experience working in resolving security issues and familiarity with REST APIs, Spring Framework/Boot, and Agile methodologies are advantageous. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven field experience, is preferred.
