Maintenance Technician

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - HVAC/R

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as knowledge of refrigerants and their safe handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on AC and refrigeration systems, including inspecting components, cleaning filters and checking refrigerant levels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC/R equipment, using specialized tools and diagnostic software.Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, thermostats and circuit boards.
• Install new HVAC/R systems and related components in both commercial and residential settings.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to refrigerant handling and disposal.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in HVAC/R is preferred.

Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is typically required for handling refrigerants. Other relevant certifications (e.g., NATE) are a plus.

Experience:4-5 years proven work experience as an HVAC\R Technician

Skills:

• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,059.45 - ₹25,000.00 per month
