Maintenance Superintendent

The Superintendent is the overall in-charge of the Child Care Institution (CCI). They are responsible for ensuring the safety, protection, rehabilitation, and overall well-being of all children residing in the institution, while maintaining compliance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Model Rules, 2016.

1. Child Care & Protection

• Ensure children’s safety, hygiene, nutrition, and daily needs are properly addressed.
• Oversee counseling, education, health check-ups, emotional support, and recreational activities.
• Maintain individualized care plans (ICP) for every child.
• Ensure timely reunification, restoration, or rehabilitation of children.

2. Administration & Management

• Overall management of staff, duties, rosters, discipline, and institutional functioning.
• Ensure proper maintenance of records, registers, case files, and documentation.
• Monitor supplies, food quality, health items, clothing, bedding, sanitation, etc.
• Ensure timely preparation of reports for CWC, DCPU, and other authorities.

3. Compliance & Legal Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with JJ Act 2015, Model Rules 2016, and inspection guidelines.
• Present children’s progress and cases before CWC/JJB as required.
• Ensure proper documentation of admission, discharge, home study, social investigation, and follow-up reports.

4. Staff Supervision

• Supervise case workers, educators, caregivers, night guards, cooks, and support staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and assign duties.
• Maintain staff discipline and performance evaluation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
