Position / Title/ Name: Senior Executive - Packaging Department: Manufacturing Workplace Hyderabad Reporting line: Manufacturing Manager Band: 10 Main purpose of the position: • Ensure that the Production department operates safely and in accordance with agreed legal, regional and group standards • Responsible for the delivery of agreed production plans according to quality, cost and service criteria • Responsible for the short and long term development of people and plant within the department • Drive performance gaps closure and continuous improvement of Packaging KPIs through effective use of Carlsberg Excellence Methodologies • Ensure that all Carlsberg standard methods, tools and process are implemented in accordance with regional and global agreements • Actively participates as part of the regional and global Packaging best practice community Educational / minimum requirements: Education and Experience: Btech/BE in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic & communication engineering • 5-8 years experience within a Packaging environment • Proven experience in managing budgets, developing people and plant and delivering performance improvements through Carlsberg Excellence methodology. Job responsibilities: • Ensuring HSE, food safety, hygiene, GMP and legal standards are complied with. • Ensure people planning is aligned with demand plan and seasonality. • Ensuring the department PMS and standard meeting and reporting systems and processes are adhered to. • Ensuring Carlsberg Excellence problem solving methodologies are used to resolve day to day performance gaps and chronic issues. • Setting, managing the department financial budget (OPEX and CAPEX) • Setting, managing the department KPI. • Ensure key KPIs are implicitly understood and manage efficiency at an appropriate level (Eg: OEE, RFT, Loss, Utilities consumptions, Taste Score, other Quality KPIs) • Responsible for Autonomous Maintenance to drive improvement in performance in manufacturing. • Knowledge of utility and maintenance would be added advantage.
