Maintenance Officer

As an electrician, your role will involve installing wiring systems, lighting, switchboards, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. You will be responsible for setting up electrical control systems and distribution panels in buildings or factories. Your key responsibilities will include: - Inspecting and testing electrical systems to identify problems - Performing routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns or hazards - Replacing or repairing faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures - Diagnosing electrical malfunctions using testing devices - Repairing short circuits, overloads, or faulty components - Following company and legal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, IEC standards) - Ensuring systems are grounded and meet electrical codes - Maintaining logs of repairs, installations, and inspections - Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents - Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians - Providing input during the design and planning of new installations Additionally, the company also expects you to have knowledge about AC maintenance, plumbing works, and CCTV related works.
