We are seeking an Oracle WebLogic Administrator to be responsible for deploying and supporting middleware applications utilizing Oracle WebLogic products. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in middleware administration within a large enterprise setting, focusing on WebLogic. Responsibilities include: - Installation and Maintenance of Oracle FUSION WebLogic Software (versions 11.x, 12.x, and 14.x) - Installing WebLogic patches, service packs, etc. - Administration of WebLogic Application server - Basic performance monitoring and tuning - Analysis of Thread Dumps and Heap dumps - Basic configuration of LDAP and Security realms - Development of automation scripts - Utilization of utilities like WebLogic.Admin, WebLogic.Deployer, etc. - Integration with HTTP servers - Troubleshooting of JAR, EAR, WAR, etc. Required Skills: - Deployment, Administration, Support, and maintenance of middleware applications to facilitate communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces - Installation, maintenance, and configuration of WebLogic environments - Assessment and identification of appropriate changes with recommendations for implementation - System administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security, and change implementation related to WebLogic - WebLogic installation, administration, and documentation - Collaboration on system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Application support, either individually or as part of a team - Planning, preparation, and application of maintenance fixes and upgrades to WebLogic software - Assistance to the application support team with high-level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis - System support provision, including off-shift on-call support as necessary, with a focus on increasing staff skill levels through cross-training.
