As a Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the maintenance activities of the service team. This includes keeping track of snags reflected in the snag register and taking necessary actions to rectify them. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and executing a Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment. You will also play a crucial role in determining the actions necessary to counter sudden breakdowns of CFT's and other support vehicles. Supervising the maintenance activity of the service team and ensuring that appropriate facilities and equipment are available for them to work safely will be part of your daily tasks. In this role, you will prepare the Critical and Essential Parts Spare list, maintain all records of maintenance activity, and tie up with probable suppliers to obtain quotations for required spares. Initiating Purchase Requisitions, following up on Purchase Orders for timely receipt of spares, and checking and certifying expense bills for maintenance activity will also be under your purview. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the Service Level Agreement and its parameters. Coordination with the MT section for the maintenance of support vehicles will also be a key aspect of your job. To qualify for this position, you must have a BE/B Tech. in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. Additionally, desired technical and functional skills include basic computer knowledge, good communication skills, and a basic first aid certificate.
