As an OT Technician in the manufacturing industry, your primary focus will be on maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial technology systems, including automation, control systems, and networks. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the production process by providing support for equipment, software, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Technology Support & Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining industrial control systems (ICS). - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with OT hardware and software to ensure smooth operations. - Production System Support: Assist in minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency by collaborating closely with production and engineering teams. - Cybersecurity and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity and safety standards for OT systems to maintain data integrity and operational safety. - Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance of equipment, tools, and instruments used in the production process to ensure optimal performance. - Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, troubleshooting, and other activities related to OT systems for future reference. - Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, including engineers, production staff, and IT professionals to achieve common goals. Additionally, you should have proficient knowledge in installing and maintaining Windows and Unix software applications, along with a good understanding of industrial protocols. Your role may also involve data analysis, effective communication with clients and engineers, problem-solving related to IoT systems, and knowledge of plant/factory networking.
