As an Inventory Management professional, your responsibilities will include receiving and storing incoming deliveries by unpacking, labeling, and checking for damages, defects, and expiration dates. You will be expected to maintain stock levels by replenishing shelves, racks, and displays following the store layout and visual merchandising standards. Keeping track of inventory records using manual or electronic systems and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the manager is crucial. Additionally, you will need to ensure proper stock rotation to prevent spoilage or obsolescence and maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled stockroom. In terms of Customer Service, you will be required to assist customers in finding and selecting products, answering questions, and providing feedback. Your role may also involve general assistance tasks such as processing returns or refunds and handling point-of-sale duties. Apart from these primary responsibilities, effective communication with team members and management regarding stock levels and inventory needs is essential. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy in receiving, unpacking, organizing, and displaying merchandise. You may also be involved in physical tasks like lifting and moving merchandise, scanning orders and codes. Safety is a top priority, and you must maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures. Implementing visual and merchandising directives according to company standards is also part of the job. This position is full-time and permanent, offering benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The schedule may include day shifts, evening shifts, morning shifts, night shifts, and rotational shifts. Performance bonuses are provided based on your achievements. Job Profile Title: Store Assistant Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering Experience: 3 to 5 years relevant experience in handling store of project-based company Key Responsibilities: Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing stock, including electrical components, control panel parts and other materials. Ensure proper labelling and storage to maintain an organized inventory system. Move materials and products safely within the store area to ensure that they are easily accessible for production team Coordinate with relevant departments to optimize stock levels. Monitor and maintain inward and outward registers of stock received. Material issuing to production dept. as per production orders. Supporting dispatch activities-E-way bill, packing list, delivery challan. Made GRN, maintaining stock and issued in system. Maintain a clean and organized store layout. Skillset: Strong understanding of electrical/electronics component. Ability to control issue of actual materials usage over wastage of materials and FIFO & FEFO base. Strong ability to accurately record stock movements and identify discrepancies. Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as required Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
