As an Interior Production Designer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the successful execution of design projects. Your main responsibilities will include: Design Development: You will be required to create accurate 2D drawings based on 3D models, as well as update designs following on-site measurements to ensure precision and alignment with project requirements. Material Management: Your role will involve preparing cut-lists with meticulous wastage calculations, as well as conducting thorough surveys on material quantity and quality to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Production Coordination: You will collaborate closely with factory engineers to verify production processes and coordinate packaging, ensuring that the final output meets the specified design requirements. On-Site Support: As part of your duties, you will inspect on-site designs, make necessary corrections, and address any design issues that may arise during the installation phase to guarantee a seamless execution. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of designs and materials will be crucial, as you will need to share progress reports with stakeholders to keep all parties informed and up-to-date on project developments. Collaboration: You will work in close conjunction with procurement and project teams to facilitate smooth coordination and communication, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of project execution. Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality at every stage of production will be essential, and you will be expected to resolve any design or production challenges that may impact the final output's quality and integrity.
