NTT DATA is looking for an Automation Consultant to join their team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As an Automation Consultant, you will be responsible for testing activities such as System Testing, SIT, Functional and Regression Testing Test Cases, and execution. You must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of strong experience in Mainframe technology including COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, etc. Your responsibilities will include creating, running, and executing JCLs in Mainframe, validating job status in spool, and solving JCL errors. You will also need to have experience in writing complex SQL Queries for Mainframe DB post execution. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct API Testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia with automation capabilities. As part of your role, you will be executing tests, tracking defects/stories, producing test metrics and reports, and identifying potential delivery-related issues. You will also assist in project meetings, provide feedback and statistics related to test quality, and conduct reviews and inspections of project deliverables. To meet project goals without compromising quality, you will implement innovative testing methods and assist in test estimation, test strategy, and Test Plan. You will coordinate and prepare Test Bed, Test Data for execution, and confirm connectivity and readiness of the test team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting SIT, supporting business users during UAT, ensuring constructive working relationships within the team and other functional groups, and complying with organization-wide process and operations guidelines. Hands-on experience in Automation testing tools like TOSCA, Selenium is required, and the ability to implement them in the project is essential.
