Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers and engineers. Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. Ensure system performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mainframe issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements. Implement best practices for mainframe development and maintenance. Manage system upgrades, patches, and migrations. Provide technical guidance for project planning and execution. Stay updated on mainframe technologies and industry trends. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in mainframe development and administration. Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM. Experience with mainframe performance tuning and optimization. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in mainframe technologies or system administration. Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
