Position Description: Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements. Full-stack software engineering roles, who can develop all components of software including user interface and server side also fall within this job function. Key Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions 2. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies 3. Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc. 4. Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application 5. Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc. 6. Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices. 7. Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency 8. Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery 9. Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization. 10. Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces 11. Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages 12. Prac. in 1 lang.; guides. 10+ years in IT; 8+ years in development Experience Preferred: Ford Experience Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Education Preferred: Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements: Additional Information : The principal role of the Mainframe developer is to develop, deliver and support the Variable Marketing Product features. • Responsibilities include development, production/operations support, process and controls. • Develops software that delivers user stories that contribute to a valuable working software product. • The Mainframe developer will be responsible to liaison with Interfacing PDO teams, Other IT Skill Teams and Business Customers to deliver the product commitments. • Should work with Product Manager, Product Owner and Product Team members on Backlog Refinement and Estimation • Partners with a Product Anchor and Product Designer to understand each user story's use case and execute a user-friendly product experience. • Perform manual/automated unit tests with working software, to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements. • Perform manual/automated functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects. • Reviews ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues • Experience is SDLC, Agile and DevOps methodologies • Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment processes • Good understanding of IT Security and Controls • Exposure to Quality Control Procedures and Practices • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Able to work independently, liaison with business and other stakeholders • Possess a continuous improvement mindset • Should be a self-starter with ability to work on complex changes with minimal guidance.

As a Technology Support Associate within our Infrastructure Platforms group, you will be a member of our highly technical production support team, pro-actively monitoring, performing wellness checks, and observing the status of Mainframe Production and Development environments. Your focus will be on meeting established business Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and/or Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the banks internal/external customers. This will be achieved through the utilization of Enterprise monitoring and triage tools provided, with an emphasis on problem resolution, root cause investigation, providing second-level problem detection, determination, and resolution function, vendor engagement, maintenance of event/outage logs, and assistance with hardware and software patch/product updates. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and troubleshooting production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm. You will work towards improving operational stability and availability through participation in problem management, monitoring production environments for anomalies, and addressing issues utilizing standard observability tools. Additionally, you will assist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, identify trends, and help manage incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure. Your ability to follow policies and procedures with attention to detail, along with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability around complex problems, will be crucial. The required qualifications, capabilities, and skills for this role include formal training or certification on Technology Support concepts and 2+ years of applied experience, hands-on experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services, a Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems discipline or a 3-year technical degree, hands-on Mainframe System and Batch Operations experience, strong knowledge of Netcool/Control-M/CA7/Zeke/Mainframe Console, relevant experience in Mainframe Operations, knowledge of Mainframe IPL (Initial Program Load), knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloud, and familiarity with processes within the scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include knowledge of one or more general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting, hardware break-fixes, basic knowledge of Storage function, exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques, and the ability to work well in a team environment.,
