As a Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to implement CloudFrames modernization product at customer sites. Working closely with client teams, you will deploy our solution, convert COBOL applications to Java, validate the transformed code, and provide technical recommendations. Your time management skills are crucial for meeting customer deadlines and ensuring timely project completion. Freshers are also welcome with a minimum of 6 months experience. Your roles and responsibilities include: Product Implementation & Deployment: - Deploy and configure CloudFrames modernization solution at customer sites. - Assist in setting up customer environments (on-premise/cloud) for migration. Code Conversion & Enhancement: - Convert COBOL applications to Java using CloudFrames tools. - Fix issues in the converted code and suggest improvements for better performance. - Work on customer-specific requirements and enhancements post-migration. Customer Interaction & Demonstration: - Demonstrate the modernization product and guide customers on best practices. - Act as a technical consultant, suggesting optimizations and implementation strategies. Quality Assurance & Testing: - Perform functional and regression testing on the converted Java applications. - Validate performance benchmarks to ensure parity with the legacy system. CI/CD Pipeline & Deployment Support: - Build CI/CD pipelines as needed to streamline deployments. - Assist the customer in transitioning from development to production within defined timelines. Time Management & Deadline Adherence: - Prioritize tasks effectively to meet implementation timelines. Key skills required for this role include: - Java Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs - Mainframe Knowledge (Preferred) in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, GDGs, batch processing - Hands-on Experience in code conversion, debugging, enhancement - DevOps Understanding (Preferred) in CI/CD pipeline creation, cloud deployments - Time Management skills to effectively manage project timelines and meet customer deadlines - Strong Communication Skills to engage with customers, explain solutions, and drive adoption.,
