Proficiency in z/OS system programming languages like assembler and REXX Expertise in system management tools like SMPE (Software Management Program Entry) and z/OSMF Knowledge of mainframe hardware configurations and I/O management Experience with system monitoring and performance analysis tools Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Monitoring system performance using RMF, SYSVIEW, Mainview, TMON or Omegamon tools, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies. Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, including software errors, hardware failures, and system crashes.
