Mainframe Developer (Vision Plus)

As a Senior Developer with 8-10 years of experience or as a Developer with 4-8 years of experience, your role will involve designing, coding, testing, debugging, and recording COBOL programs in a CICS/VSAM/JCL environment. You will be required to understand the design and requirements to develop and execute custom application features and functions. Collaboration with Architects, Solution Analysis, SMEs from various teams to drive the right solution and outcome is an essential part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating estimates for small to medium-sized projects, creating high-level designs, analyzing and developing code as per specifications, supporting production deployment, and post-development implementation activities. Application support as necessary, participation in and driving Crisis Calls for production incidents, identifying and working on system performance improvement, and mentoring junior developers in the team are also key aspects of this role. Stakeholder management is another critical responsibility. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in the development and maintenance of complex banking applications such as credit card processing. A strong knowledge of the VisionPLUS product, hands-on working knowledge in the CMS module, and knowledge of CICS and VisionPLUS online are essential. Exposure to VMx/WINGSFM is appreciated. Experience in design and development of medium to high complexity problems, good knowledge and experience of DevOps & Agile discipline, and strong interpersonal and communications skills are also required. Exposure or experience of working as a technical lead for small to medium-sized projects is a plus.,
