Mainframe Developer (Banking Domain)

As a Mainframe Developer in the Banking Domain at FIS, you will be part of an advanced professional team that is highly skilled and proficient in developing large and complex solutions. Your role will involve providing application software development services within defined projects, developing program logic, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications. You will work on multiple projects as a project leader or subject matter expert, contributing to system improvements and ensuring successful implementation. Your work will be in a Hybrid Mode, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week to work from the office. Key Responsibilities: - Provide application software development services within defined projects - Develop program logic for new applications or modify logic in existing applications - Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications - Maintain, test, and integrate application components - Make recommendations for new code development or reuse of existing code - Ensure successful implementation of system improvements Qualifications Required: - 6 to 15 years of experience in Mainframe Development - Strong knowledge in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, Syncsort, Easytrieve - Strong experience in the Banking Domain - Consistent academic records with 1st class in all academics (10th, 12th, UG & PG) - Experience in Systematics ALS / IMPACS / RM / ST preferred Additional Company Details: FIS offers a multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities for professional education and personal development.
