You are an experienced Mainframe DB2 Application Developer / Administrator with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience, seeking a role that involves supporting application development and AMS activities in a DB2 environment. **Role Overview:** - Support application development and AMS activities for Mainframe applications in a DB2 environment. - Perform analysis, design, development, customization, and ongoing support of Mainframe applications. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform analysis, design, development, and customization of Mainframe DB2 applications. - Work extensively with JCL, COBOL, and DB2. - Provide application support as part of AMS engagements. - Use Endevor for version control and File Manager / File-AID for file handling. - Debug and resolve issues using Expeditor. - Work with JIRA and Confluence for task tracking and documentation. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong hands-on experience with JCL, COBOL, and DB2. - Experience in Mainframe application development and AMS support. - Proficiency with Endevor, File-AID, and Expeditor. - Experience using JIRA and Confluence. **Desirable Skills:** - Experience working in Agile projects. - Insurance domain experience. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
