You should have a stronghold on Mainframe & Database Architecture, with expertise in Mainframe Database concepts. You will be required to work closely with various vendors & application teams to troubleshoot application issues. Your role will involve hands-on knowledge in Mainframe Database offline & online Utilities, as well as experience with ISV tools like BMC and CA products. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in Mainframe Db2 System Upgrades and Migration activities, as well as proficiency in SMP/e tools. A basic understanding of DR concepts and the DBA role in DR activities is also necessary. Your knowledge of JCL and its various concepts will be essential for this role, along with experience in performance monitoring and relevant tools. It is important for you to have in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management processes. Previous experience in a customer-facing role with excellent communication skills is highly desirable. Moreover, you should possess strong technical knowledge and demonstrate an eagerness to learn new technologies to excel in this position.,
