As a Technology Support Associate within our Infrastructure Platforms group, you will be a member of our highly technical production support team, pro-actively monitoring, performing wellness checks, and observing the status of Mainframe Production and Development environments. Your focus will be on meeting established business Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and/or Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for the banks internal/external customers. This will be achieved through the utilization of Enterprise monitoring and triage tools provided, with an emphasis on problem resolution, root cause investigation, providing second-level problem detection, determination, and resolution function, vendor engagement, maintenance of event/outage logs, and assistance with hardware and software patch/product updates. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and troubleshooting production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm. You will work towards improving operational stability and availability through participation in problem management, monitoring production environments for anomalies, and addressing issues utilizing standard observability tools. Additionally, you will assist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, identify trends, and help manage incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure. Your ability to follow policies and procedures with attention to detail, along with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability around complex problems, will be crucial. Thinking creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement is also expected. The required qualifications, capabilities, and skills for this role include formal training or certification on Technology Support concepts and 2+ years of applied experience, hands-on experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services, a Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems discipline or a 3-year technical degree, hands-on Mainframe System and Batch Operations experience, strong knowledge of Netcool/Control-M/CA7/Zeke/Mainframe Console, relevant experience in Mainframe Operations, knowledge of Mainframe IPL (Initial Program Load), knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloud, and familiarity with processes within the scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include knowledge of one or more general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting, hardware break-fixes, basic knowledge of Storage function, exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques, and the ability to work well in a team environment.,
