Role & responsibilities The role sought is for a Mainframe developer at Bengaluru - India Technology Center. Bengaluru team will be part of the larger Global Application Development team based As a developer you will participate in design and development of Mainframe batches Participate in design and code reviews, incorporate performance requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow. Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications. Identify applicable system platform, components, dependencies, document application specifications. Analyze performance issues and resolution recommendations. The individual will need to be very flexible with ability to react quickly to changing business needs. Must have hands on experience on COBOL, DB2, MVS Utilities, VSAM, CICS and JCL. Must have hands on experience on DB2. Must be proficient in creating views, writing stored procedures and performing code tuning.
