As an experienced professional in the field of Mainframe Environment support, you should possess knowledge and expertise in various key areas. Your responsibilities will include supporting a complex Mainframe Environment, managing Mainframe migrations, and overseeing LPAR/MIPS management. Additionally, you will be involved in Mainframe backup to and restore from tape, datacenter migration, and design. Your role will require you to install, configure, and provide support for Mainframe LPARS and MIPS. You should also have experience in configuring and supporting mainframe restores, along with proficiency in DC migration and troubleshooting. A strong understanding and practical knowledge of network, DHCP, DNS, load balancing, and IIS are essential for this position. Capacity and performance management will be a crucial aspect of your job, as you will be expected to handle Remote Administration of MIPS/LPARS. Collaborating with vendor partners to ensure agreed-upon SLA's are met and working together to enhance reporting and operations policies and procedures will be part of your regular tasks. Key Skills required for this role include load balancing, DHCP, mainframe environment support, LPAR management, network configuration, ZOS, mainframe migrations, mainframe installation and configuration, mainframe backup and restore, vendor management, MIPS management, remote administration, IIS, datacenter migration, load, DNS, and DC.
