Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Manager, located in Jaipur. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, understanding client needs, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery. Daily tasks include coordinating with internal teams, monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and ensuring client satisfaction. Key Roles & Responsibilities Electrical Design & Engineering: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage systems. Direct the development of electrical system designs including power distribution, protection schemes, electrical controls, grid integration, and energy storage. Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, CBIP, CEA, etc.). Review and approve electrical design documents, including electrical drawings, specifications, and system integration plans. Conduct Energy yield assessment for solar projects. Conduct power analysis, load flow, fault analysis, and reliability studies to ensure optimal design performance and safety. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the electrical design and engineering team to ensure the successful execution of all renewable energy projects. Develop and implement engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety. Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development to engineers and designers, building a high- performance team. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the electrical design and engineering functions. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management: Lead efforts to ensure that electrical system designs comply with all safety regulations and environmental standards. Conduct risk assessments related to electrical design and mitigate potential hazards. Promote a culture of safety within the electrical design team and ensure the implementation of safety protocols throughout all stages of design and execution. Innovation & Technology Integration: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and renewable energy to continuously improve design and operational efficiency. Evaluate and implement innovative electrical solutions, tools, and methodologies to optimize system performance and reduce costs. Lead the integration of new technologies, including energy storage systems, grid-connected inverters, and microgrid solutions, into electrical designs. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Present design proposals and project updates to senior management, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in for project plans. Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated, holistic project execution. Collaborate with project managers to define electrical design scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines. Provide technical guidance and support during the construction, installation, and commissioning phases of renewable energy projects. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design challenges that may arise during project execution. Education Qualification/Experience: Bachelor s or master s degree in electrical engineering At least 17 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, with a strong focus on renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage. Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, protection schemes, grid integration, and energy storage. Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Knowledge of energy storage technologies and their integration with renewable energy systems. Experience with electrical protection, SCADA systems, and renewable energy inverters. Proficiency in Design & Engineering across AC, DC & Power Evacuation.
EXPERIENCE SUMMARY: Skilled in Solar Modules, wireless systems, RFID, fibre optics, PPC, MODBUS, and PLCC communications. Proficient in quality control: in-process checks, BoM verification, final inspection / testing of Indian & Chinese Solar PV Modules, and reliability testing. Conducted vendor evaluations, factory audits, and BoM assessments for PV modules and related products. Hands-on experience in commissioning utility-scale solar projects, including SCADA / DAS troubleshooting. Interprets contractual/specification requirements and formulates Quality Assurance Plans and Inspection/Test Plans for electrical packages. Independently manages quality activities including pre-dispatch inspections and functional checks of heavy electrical items using schematic/GA/logic drawings. Focused on integrating quality into processes proactively. Coordinates regularly with suppliers, third-party inspection agencies, and cross-functional teams. Maintains quality documentation and reporting. Proficient in IT tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS Office, AutoCAD. Well-versed in engineering standards: IEC, BS, IS, IEEE. Strong understanding of electrical test equipment, drawings, complex schemes, and logic diagrams. Advanced knowledge of AC/DC systems and electrical safety up to 1500VDC and 230KV AC for solar power plants.
