The candidate will be responsible for conducting road and pavement condition surveys using NSV (Network Survey Vehicle), FWD and manual survey methods, collecting and processing data, and preparing survey reports in coordination with the project team. Key Responsibilities Carry out field survey / condition survey of roads, highways and pavements as per project requirement. Work with and operate NSV (Network Survey Vehicle) for video recording, surface condition data and roughness measurement. Assist/operate FWD (Falling Weight Deflectometer) / other pavement testing equipment for pavement strength / deflection surveys (if applicable in project). Identify and record various pavement distresses cracks, potholes, rutting, ravelling, bleeding, patching, undulations, edge failure etc. Take measurements of road width, shoulders, median, side drains, structures, junctions, access roads, encroachments etc. Maintain chainage-wise / location-wise observations, notes and geo-tagged photographs with proper referencing. Prepare daily survey reports, site diary, raw data sheets and summary reports in Excel / prescribed formats. Coordinate with client / consultant representatives during joint inspections and site visits. Plan and supervise day-to-day field activities with survey team (driver, NSV operator, FWD operator, helpers etc.). Ensure proper handling, basic maintenance and safety of survey instruments, NSV system and FWD equipment. Follow all site safety guidelines including use of PPE, traffic cones, sign boards and work-zone safety norms.
