As a Magento Developer/Senior Magento Developer at our company, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing eCommerce websites on the Magento platform. Your expertise in Magento architecture, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be crucial for the success of our projects. Ideally, you should have proven experience with Magento 2.x and be adept at customizing and extending core functionalities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Excellent understanding of Magento core features, architecture, system configuration, and layout structure. - Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, MVC, and OOPS concepts. - Quick adaptation to new Magento releases and versions, and proficient in setting up and configuring websites. - Customizing and enhancing Magento's core functionalities through the creation of new plugins to meet project requirements. - Experience in Magento Theme Customization, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, JQuery, KnockoutJS, etc. - Integration of third-party solutions and plugins into Magento websites. - Knowledge of build release and deployment processes. - Strong debugging skills using browser extensions and server tools. - Familiarity with internet security techniques and coding best practices. - Experience in performance tuning, managing large data sets, caching, and scaling techniques. - Proficiency in development within Linux and Windows environments. **Qualification Required:** - Minimum of 3 years of Magento 2 experience. - Total programming background of up to 7 years with the ability to collaborate effectively with US counterparts. - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or Computer Science; MBA with a solid IT understanding. - Agile: Strong grasp of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their application in software development. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
