Using different welding techniques like MAG, MIG and Stick welding to join metal parts together. Setting up, maintaining, and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspecting and testing welds and ensuring that they meet design requirements, safety standards, and structural reliability. Applying knowledge of metallurgy and material properties to the welding process. Ensuring work is done in compliance with relevant codes such as AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
