Hiring for experience professional with Cost segregation Shift: Night Shift Experience: 4+ years Location: Coimbatore Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Lead and conduct detailed cost segregation studies for commercial and residential real estate properties. Review architectural drawings, construction cost data, and fixed asset records to classify property components into appropriate tax categories. Prepare and review technical reports that support the reallocation of assets for accelerated depreciation. Collaborate with tax professionals, engineers, and property owners to gather necessary documentation and clarify technical specifications. Stay current with IRS guidelines, tax law changes, and relevant case law impacting cost segregation and depreciation. Provide training and technical support to internal teams regarding cost segregation methodology and application. Perform quality control and peer review of other analysts work to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support audit defense and provide expert testimony, if required. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience in cost segregation, tax depreciation, or fixed asset analysis. Deep understanding of MACRS depreciation rules, IRS Audit Techniques Guide for Cost Segregation, and relevant tax codes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex data and technical documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost segregation software tools (e.g., RSMeans, Sage Fixed Assets, etc.).
