Position: Production Manager (Chemical) Location: Kanpur (Rania), Uttar Pradesh Experience Required: 10+ years in Adhesives, Epoxy, Emulsion, Solvent Cement, and Construction Chemicals etc. Job Description: Astral Limited is seeking a highly experienced Production Manager (Chemical) to lead production operations at our Kanpur (Rania) facility. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in chemical manufacturing, particularly in adhesives, epoxy, emulsions, solvent cement, and construction chemicals etc. . This role demands hands-on expertise in managing production lines, optimizing processes, and ensuring quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage production activities for adhesives, epoxy, emulsions, solvent cement, and construction chemicals. Ensure smooth operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, maintenance, and procurement teams to meet production targets. Implement process improvements and troubleshoot production issues. Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold environmental and safety standards. Key Skills & Attributes: In-depth knowledge of chemical production processes in adhesives and construction chemicals. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Expertise in process optimization, production planning, and quality control. Familiarity with industrial safety norms and chemical handling protocols. Proficiency in production management tools and ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. Preferred Industry Experience: Adhesives, Epoxy, Emulsion, Solvent Cement, and Construction Chemicals. Experience in related sectors like paints, coatings, or specialty chemicals is a plus.
