The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in InterSystems technologies, including Cache, ObjectScript, HL7, FHIR, and SDA3, as well as experience in Health Connect Cloud administration. Additionally, experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab branching strategies, and cloud administration is essential. Key Responsibilities: • InterSystems Development: Design, develop, and maintain solutions using InterSystems Cache and ObjectScript for healthcare integration projects. • Healthcare Data Integration: Work with HL7, FHIR, and SDA3 standards to develop healthcare data exchange solutions, ensuring seamless data interoperability across systems. • Health Connect Cloud Administration: Administer and manage InterSystems Health Connect Cloud environments, including setup, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment using GitLab and related tools. • Source Control and Branching Strategies: Manage source code repositories in GitLab, implement branching strategies, and ensure smooth collaboration across development teams. • System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of the Health Connect Cloud environment. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare business analysts, IT operations, and other developers, to ensure effective integration solutions. • Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare data security regulations. Required Skills and Experience: • InterSystems Cache: Advanced experience with Cache database administration and development. • ObjectScript: Proficiency in ObjectScript programming for healthcare integration workflows. • HL7 and FHIR: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR standards for healthcare data exchange. • SDA3: Knowledge and experience working with the SDA3 (Summary Document Architecture) standard. • Health Connect Cloud: Hands-on experience in administering and managing Health Connect Cloud environments. • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab, for automated deployment processes. • Source Control: Strong understanding of Git-based source control, branching, and release management strategies using GitLab. • Healthcare Integration: Familiarity with healthcare messaging protocols and the overall healthcare integration ecosystem. • System Administration: Experience with cloud-based system administration tasks including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain HL7based interfaces using Cerner OpenLink (and/or OpenView) between various healthcare systems (EMR/EHR, labs, radiology, billing, pharmacies, etc.). Build and support both realtime and batch interface workflows. Translate business/clinical requirements into interface mappings, data transformations, and HL7 message schemas (v2, v3, possibly FHIR or CDA when applicable). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve interface failures, message delivery issues, connectivity/networking problems, and data inconsistencies. Perform interface performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization. Handle versioning and changes to interface specifications, including migrations and upgrades of OpenLink/OpenView or related middleware. Produce and maintain technical documentation (interface specs, data mapping, design diagrams, change logs). Work closely with clinical, operations, IT support, and vendor teams to gather requirements, perform impact analyses, and validate deliverables. Ensure that interfaces meet regulatory, security, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA), and adhere to organizational best practices. Participate in system improvements, identify opportunities to enhance reliability, scalability, and maintainability of integration solutions. Provide productionsupport / oncall support as needed to address critical interface issues. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Cerner / Siemens OpenLink (or OpenView): Handson experience deploying and managing interfaces using OpenLink, including knowledge of its tools, configuration, and administration. HL7 Standards: Proficiency in HL7 message types such as ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM, etc. Understanding of version differences (e.g. v2.x, v3) and ability to work with CDA or FHIR where applicable. Data Mapping & Transformation: Strong skills in mapping data between disparate systems, transforming data formats, fields, and ensuring data integrity. Scripting / Programming Languages: Familiarity with CCL (Cerners Command Language) and/or other languages like SQL, Python, Perl, Java, .NETbased scripting for custom transformations or utilities. Database Skills: Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) to query, manipulate, and analyze data flows. Interface Engine or Middleware Knowledge: Experience with interface engines, middleware, message queuing, networking (TCP/IP, SFTP, VPN, HTTP, etc.).
