Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and accurate product specifications. own the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in assigned part family with APQP implementation and support the product thru the lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production and quality issues. Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Monitor and deliver on business KPIs and metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies and processes. Ideal Candidate : Experience into General Fabrication (Tubes & Ducts, Structures combination machine parts, sheet metal parts) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 3 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with 2 years minimum in the aerospace industry. Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, APQP, PPAP, and NadCap processes. Proficiency in CAD software, including Unigraphics and AutoCAD. Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with the design and implementation of tools and fixtures. Preferred Qualifications: Adequate project management skills Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies.
