Primary Job Role: The Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for casting and forging components. The role focuses on delivering cost-effective, high-quality products with on-time delivery, while also driving localization initiatives and establishing a seamless supply chain to meet customer requirements and business goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement regional commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps for castings and forging parts. Drive end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQ, technical evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection, and contract finalization. Lead supplier localization efforts to reduce lead times, enhance supply chain resilience, and reduce cost. Identify, assess, and develop suppliers to meet project and production needs. Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities (Mainly in steel, casting, forging) Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for machine selection, process mapping, Actively participate in sourcing lifecycle from supplier identification to PSW sign-off. Candidate: B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline or Diploma. 6 to 8 years of experience in vendor development and sourcing for casting, forging, and machining components. Candidate with Steel casting sourcing experience would be preferred. Proven expertise in project management, supplier quality, and commodity management. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and technical drawings. Exposure to international sourcing and global supplier networks is desirable. Job Description: Outsourcing Manager (Aerospace & Defence Industry) Location: Pune Company: Senwell Exports Private Limited Company Overview: Senwell Exports Private Limited specializes in precision machining of aerospace and defence components as per customer specifications. The company primarily serves clients in the Aerospace & Defence sector, focusing on high-precision machining, special processes, and stringent quality standards. exporting majorly to international and domestic levels. Roles and responsibilities: Drive organization and departmental KPIs/objectives specific to aerospace and defense outsourcing. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for precision machining and special processes such as heat treatment, anodizing, plating, coating, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing). Strong knowledge of aerospace-grade manufacturing processes, material selection, and special processes required for aerospace components. Negotiate with suppliers for cost optimization and ensure on-time delivery with AS9100D Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) to customers. Hands-on experience in supplier resourcing, capacity planning analysis, and aerospace supply chain development programs. Implement cost-reduction projects while maintaining strict adherence to aerospace standards. Inventory management (system stock vs. physical stock) to optimize procurement strategies. Monitor and liquidate non-moving inventory efficiently. Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality complaints, driving CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) as per aerospace industry standards. Familiarity with QMS, AS9100, NADCAP, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and industry trends & innovations in Aerospace & Defence manufacturing. Strong skills in ERP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for supplier and inventory tracking. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced aerospace supply chain environment. Qualification & Experience: Engineering Graduate with 10-15 years of experience in Sourcing/Outsourcing for precision machining components.

Skills: Should costing / ZBC and sourcing activities for portfolio Forging /Casting. Develop innovative cost models for both piece price and tooling for Forging /Casting/ Machining Components. Sound knowledge in manufacturing processes involved in castings (Steel & AL Die casting), forging parts, Tubes & hoses & should be aware of global cost modelling & cost structuring. Identify the machining process, and machine set up to meet GD&T as in the 2d drawings. Good Knowledge about global raw material cost trends & Process cost trends. VAVE costing activities and ECN implementation for India and global customers / suppliers. Knowledge of tool cost estimation. Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Industrial / Production/ Automotive)
