Your role will involve planning and scheduling routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory records for each department and keeping them up to date to facilitate smooth production processes. Additionally, you will need to maintain repairing records for safety and warranty purposes. Adhering to safety measures and policies is crucial in this role. Effective communication with supervisors and the Production Manager regarding existing and potential issues is expected. You will be involved in developing and managing maintenance budgets to ensure all activities remain within budgetary constraints. Staying updated on new innovations and technologies is essential to provide training to the team as needed. Conducting training sessions for machine operators and production workers on routine preventive maintenance is also part of the responsibilities. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, identifying faults and efficiency issues, and implementing improvements to enhance machine efficiency are key tasks. You will be required to create cleaning and maintenance procedures for the plant or machinery. Additionally, cooperating with external service engineers when called for rectification is part of the job. Some other tasks may include production supervision and handling manpower effectively.,
