As a Business Development Manager (BDM) Sales for Key Accounts at Mettler Toledo in Mumbai, Maharashtra, your primary responsibility will be to increase market share in Key Accounts by developing uniformity across multi-locational accounts in terms of applications, scope, and pricing. You will support Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) in qualifying solutions to ensure faster response to the market and work closely with customers, Sales, and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) teams to facilitate faster closure of technical scope. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the sales team by offering solutions for different applications, validating application feasibility, conducting product trials, delivering technical presentations to customers, and coordinating with SBU technical teams, local engineering, and Business Managers for special applications, pre and post-sales activities, order execution, training, and building local sales team competence. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electronics/Industrial Electronics) and possess technical proficiency in handling and operating equipment. You must have experience working with high-value capital goods and with Global and Large Indian FMCG and pharma companies having multiple sites. Your background should include 8-10 years of experience in working with high-value technical products and a strong understanding of customer processes in Food and Pharma manufacturing.
