Machine Technician

As a Bakery Machine Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of bakery machinery. Your diverse technical background, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and automation skills, will be utilized to maintain and repair equipment effectively. While prior experience with bakery machinery is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement for this position. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine electrical system checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that machinery operates efficiently. You will work with PLCs, VFDs, and contactors to diagnose and resolve system problems, as well as perform electrical panel wiring based on diagrams and schematics. Understanding mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, conveyor belts, and chains will be essential for conducting repairs and adjustments to keep bakery production lines running smoothly. Preventive maintenance procedures will be implemented by you to minimize downtime and uphold machinery in optimal condition. Your ability to quickly diagnose equipment problems and recommend solutions will be crucial in minimizing production interruptions. Adhering to safety regulations while working with electrical and mechanical systems is paramount in this role. Required skills for this position include knowledge of electrical systems, experience with PLC programming and drives, ability to interpret electrical panel diagrams, and proficiency in troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety standards, and capability to work independently or as part of a team will be key in excelling in this role.
