Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily machining operations in the machine shop.
Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other equipment.
Develop and optimize machining processes for automotive components (e.g., engine parts, transmission components).
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of machined parts.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for machining defects.
Ensure compliance with IATF & ISO/TS standards and company safety protocols.
Maintain inventory of tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
Train and mentor machine operators and technicians.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in a machine shop environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) and CAD/CAM software.
Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
