Minimum Qualification & Experience

• Education:

  ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Mechanic / Mechatronics / Turner / Machinist) from a recognized institute

• Experience:

  Minimum 1 year as Machine Operator in any automated manufacturing plant (preferably with PLC-controlled machines, robots, compressors, or packaging lines)
• Fresh ITI candidates with strong aptitude will NOT be considered.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

1. Technical Skills

• Able to independently operate PLC/HMI-controlled machines and industrial robots
• Basic troubleshooting: Reset PLC alarms, robot faults, sensor errors Identify and replace blown fuses, loose wires, air leaks – Understand basic electrical circuits (24V DC control circuits, proximity sensors, solenoid valves)
• Change-over of formats / tools as per planning
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, tightening, visual inspection)

2. Documentation & Digital Skills

• Fair reading & writing in English + Hindi
• Good working knowledge of computer & smartphone: – Fill Google Forms / Google Sheets for hourly production, downtime, quality checks – Take photos of defects and upload instantly – Transfer files via WhatsApp / Drive / email – Browse for spare part images or short videos when required
• Able to read and strictly follow SOPs / Work Instructions displayed on HMI or printed
• Proactively suggest improvements or updates in existing SOPs (in writing via Google Form or paper)

3. Mathematical & Measurement Skills

• Good at basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, percentage, averaging)
• Accurate use of vernier caliper, micrometer, measuring tape, weighing scale
• Calculate OEE, efficiency, and scrap % when asked

4. Behaviour & Attitude

• Excellent interpersonal behaviour – polite with supervisors, maintenance team, and quality staff
• Team player, ready to help in other lines during breakdowns
• 100% adherence to safety rules (PPE, LOTO awareness, no shortcuts)
• Punctual, disciplined, and willing to work extra hours when production is urgent

Daily Responsibilities

• Start-up and shut-down of assigned machines as per checklist
• Achieve hourly/daily production targets with zero quality defects
• Record production, rejection, and downtime accurately in Google Sheets / Forms every hour
• Immediate reporting of any abnormality (strange noise, error code, leakage, quality issue)
• Perform first-level cleaning and minor adjustments
• Assist maintenance team during breakdown (hand over tools, explain symptoms clearly)
• Participate in morning toolbox meetings and give suggestions freely

Selection Process

1. Written test (basic math + English/Hindi comprehension + circuit diagram reading)
2. Practical test on actual machine (start-up, format change, fault simulation)
3. Personal interview focusing on attitude and communication
