Possess fundamental understanding of gas and electric-fired ovens and furnaces, along with practical troubleshooting experience. Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies, manage spare parts, and oversee the maintenance budget while developing strong action plans for control. Provide effective mechanical solutions tailored to requirements, showcasing problem-solving and decision-making skills. Lead the maintenance team, ensuring high levels of efficiency through structured approaches. Support the maintenance team technically and escalate issues to inter-departmental contacts, vendors, suppliers, and upper management to minimize downtime. Foster skill development within the maintenance team through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance. Maintain and update all relevant records (integrated management system) related to department operations for compliance with plant maintenance standards. Oversee the planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance activities, ensuring aggressive implementation and monitoring to maintain equipment integrity. Implement conditioning monitoring equipment and take necessary actions for upkeep. Monitor and control maintenance activities and workflows, prioritizing critical tasks while conducting scheduled and opportunistic maintenance on electrical equipment. Collaborate with external agencies to perform AMC activities, ensuring compliance with schedules and effectiveness (e.g., EOT cranes, split AC units, RO systems) through detailed preparation and monitoring. Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements and maintain awareness of relevant legislation. Apply knowledge of 5S principles, TPM pillars, and quality circles to initiate appropriate actions. Preferred candidate profile Applicants from Mechanical Engineering, with an experience of 4 to 6 years with BACHELOR'S DEGREE. Experience in transformer components or assembly companies/ Electrical product manufacturing companies will be given preference. Applicant must be willing to travel, Go getter, pleasing personality would be added advantage. Also having Computer knowledge, Excellent communication skills, Analytical and multitasking skills, Teamwork and motivational skills. A knowledge of SAP would be preferable.
