Description
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Vimaan, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning algorithms for the wall-to-wall warehouse inventory tracking and verification platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing new learning algorithms for various computer vision tasks such as object detection, object tracking, instance segmentation, and more - Training and debugging deep learning systems, gaining deep insights into data characteristics, and mapping them to appropriate model architectures - Working with popular object detection frameworks like YOLO, SSD, or Faster R-CNN - Collaborating with MLOps for integrating machine learning models into production systems - Conducting thorough performance analysis and evaluation of models using appropriate metrics and tools To excel in this role, you should have: - An MS in computer vision, machine learning, AI, applied mathematics, data science, or related technical fields, or a BS with 3+ years of experience in Computer Vision/Machine Learning - Hands-on experience in developing computer vision algorithms and deep learning models - Knowledge of current deep learning literature and mathematical foundations of machine learning - Strong programming skills with Python and experience with ML/DL frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and data pre-processing, augmentation, and visualization tools - Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for technology advancements in machine learning and computer vision In addition to the technical skills, you should be highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and work effectively in a team or independently. Adaptability to changing requirements and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential attributes for success in this role.
