Machine Learning Engineer Tech Lead

Role Overview: You will be the Machine Learning Lead at a product-based e-Commerce company in Bangalore, responsible for designing and maintaining significant features in data pipelines, ML processing, and service infrastructure. Your tasks will involve creating complex solutions for building pipelines, processing datasets, providing search capabilities, driving integration between data layers and customer-facing applications, and running A/B tests to measure functionality impact. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deliver, and maintain significant features in data pipelines, ML processing, and service infrastructure - Optimize software performance to achieve required throughput and latency - Collaborate with managers, peers, and Product Managers to scope projects and features - Develop a sound technical strategy considering project goals, timelines, and expected impact - Lead cross-team efforts and ensure synchronization for coherent technical solutions - Participate actively in knowledge sharing across the organization by teaching and learning from others Qualification Required: - Passion and commitment for technical excellence - B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience - 7+ years of software design and development experience in backend services and data pipelines - Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Software Design/architecture, and core Statistics knowledge - Proficiency in Java, Python/Scala for production-grade coding - Experience in data examination, computation of statistics, and data insights - Familiarity with designing and operating Big Data processing pipelines like Hadoop and Spark - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration Additional Details: The company is seeking genuine job seekers who are passionate about taking on challenges and handling complexity.
