As a Service Engineer with surface mining experience, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of heavy earth-moving equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, dumpers, and mining trucks. You will be part of a USD 2.8 billion conglomerate, a global leader in manufacturing machines and engines for earthmoving equipment, mining trucks, loaders, and dumpers. Your main responsibilities will include conducting machine inspections, monitoring equipment conditions, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. You should have the ability to assess quality through validation processes. Utilizing various strategies and tools, you will provide effective solutions to address customer concerns and ensure services are delivered efficiently. Effective communication with clients, engineers, and other technicians is crucial to ensure smooth service delivery. You will be required to promptly follow up on service requests, provide customer feedback, and monitor equipment performance. Developing preventative maintenance measures, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring equipment safety are key aspects of your role. As part of your duties, you will also be responsible for delivering demonstrations to educate customers on safe and effective equipment usage. Your input on new features and product improvements will be valuable. Additionally, monitoring inventory levels, reordering materials as needed, staying updated on industry developments through research and workshops, and presenting findings to managers and supervisors are essential components of this position. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and have 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in servicing and maintaining heavy earth-moving equipment.,

Responsibilites: -Perform regular machine inspections to ensure equipment functions efficiently and safely. -Conduct machine trials for newly assembled or serviced machines, focusing on accuracy and performance. -Carry out quality checks at various stages of production to ensure adherence to JAI's standards. -Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and enhance machine performance. -Document trial results, report deviations, and suggest improvements in processes. -Support continuous improvement initiatives in production and assembly operations. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Perform machine checking to ensure proper functionality. -Conduct machine trials to verify performance and accuracy. -Carry out quality checks to ensure machines meet required standards. Requisite Skills: -ITI (Fitter) with 12 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine production environment. -Understanding of mechanical systems, assembly processes, and quality tools. -Familiarity with machine tools and performance evaluation.
