Seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (510 yrs) to spearhead new market entry and business expansion for a leading luxury fashion brand. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring smooth coordination across sales, supply chain, and retail operations. MBA or equivalent with strong commercial acumen preferred. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Expansion: Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in both existing and untapped markets. Develop and execute strategies to expand the brands market share in the luxury fashion sector. Build relationships with high-end retailers, wholesalers, and fashion buyers to increase distribution channels. Expand the brand’s visibility by exploring new geographic regions and potential market segments. Work closely with senior leadership to establish and execute long-term business expansion strategies. 2. Lead Generation & New Business Acquisition: Identify potential clients and partners, with a focus on luxury fashion retailers, boutiques, and online platforms. Develop a strong pipeline of new business leads by attending relevant industry events, networking, and leveraging contacts in the fashion and retail space. Initiate and manage outreach efforts to introduce the company’s portfolio to potential partners and clients. Engage in negotiations and prepare business proposals to secure new accounts and clients. Utilize CRM systems to track lead progress and ensure timely follow-ups. 3. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth transition from acquisition to post-sale relationship management. Conduct market research to assess customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends, applying findings to develop tailored sales strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with brand positioning and messaging. Establish long-term relationships with key luxury fashion clients, helping to foster repeat business and customer loyalty. 4. Brand & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all new business accounts and key clients. Build and nurture strong relationships with top-tier fashion brands, key designers, luxury retailers, and other stakeholders in the industry. Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding business development activities and opportunities. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful execution of contracts and agreements. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and other luxury fashion-related functions. 5. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and consumer preferences within the luxury fashion space. Collect and analyze market intelligence to inform business development strategies. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the success of business development initiatives, sales activities, and market trends. 6. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and design teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and brand direction. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the development of profitable business partnerships and accurate financial projections. Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of business agreements and contracts.
