Role & responsibilities

MAC OS Apps Developer

Preferred candidate profile

MacOS Apps developer

Remote (Located in India)

Fulltime with Encora Innovative labs Project with our internal client based in Bangalore.

MacOS Apps Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain applications for macOS
Utilize macOS specific frameworks / tools for app development and app packaging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Conduct testing (unit testing, functional testing, etc.) to ensure applications are reliable.
Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and handle app deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in macOS development
: Deep understanding of app development on macOS.
App Development
: Knowledge of Cocoa, Objective-C (or Swift), and Xcode for macOS
App Packaging:
Handle packaging, signing, and deployment of apps (
.pkg
) for macOS and distribution through Apples App Store
Cross-platform frameworks
: Experience with any framework for cross-platform app development is a plus.
Familiarity with UI/UX
design principles, especially for desktop applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 6+ years of professional experience in macOS development.
Proven experience in deploying and maintaining applications on macOS.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
