The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients. Day-to-day tasks will include developing individualized care plans, providing therapy sessions, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role involves working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients to help them achieve independence in daily living, learning, and working through customized therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and sensory needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Work with patients having neurological, orthopedic, developmental, and psychosocial conditions. Provide therapy for children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and sensory processing disorders. Support adults in post-surgical, neurological, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Guide families and caregivers in home-based therapy programs. Maintain patient records and progress reports. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, doctors, etc.). Skills & Competencies Strong clinical knowledge of occupational therapy practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and patience while working with clients. Ability to design innovative therapy activities. Documentation and report-writing skills.
