Naxnova is seeking dynamic professionals for the Strategy/M&A group based in the Corporate Office, Andheri (East), Mumbai. As a member of this team, you will report to the Group Strategy Head and play a crucial role in driving business growth through strategic planning, executing M&A opportunities, and conducting comprehensive competitive analysis. Your responsibilities will involve formulating and implementing business strategies, managing acquisitions from valuation to integration, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical, financial, and communication skills, along with significant experience in Strategy or M&A. This position offers opportunities for two full-time roles at the Corporate Office in Andheri (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The vertical/function for this role is Strategy and M&A (Merger and Acquisition). The job title can be either AGM/Senior Manager/Manager Strategy/M&A (Merger and Acquisition), with the type of role being an Individual Contributor. Reporting directly to the Group Strategy Head, the working days are set at 6 days a week with alternate Saturdays off. Key Interfaces for this role include internal interactions with the MD and Senior Management Group Company stakeholders, as well as external interfaces with I-bankers and Consulting firms. The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement a long-range business strategy for individual businesses within the group. This involves formulating inorganic strategies, identifying and executing business growth objectives through acquisitions, conducting competition analyses, and introducing strategic interventions to stay ahead of the curve. Researching and analyzing industry trends to address business challenges and implementing continuous review processes are also key responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: - Developing business strategy plans and evaluating growth opportunities - Analyzing macroeconomic factors, market trends, and competitors - Identifying new trends, products, and expansion opportunities - Monitoring and reviewing strategy execution - Evaluating M&A opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting integration - Analyzing competitive landscape and market trends - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders - Providing periodic recommendations and implementing contingency plans Key Result Areas for this role consist of delivering new strategy plans, monitoring business plan execution, sourcing and executing M&As in alignment with business strategy, and ensuring successful integration of acquired targets. Desired competencies for this role include analytical capabilities, presentation and communication skills, financial analysis proficiency, experience in cross-functional teams, and knowledge of capital markets and regulatory requirements. The educational and experience requirements include a CA or MBA in Finance/Strategy, management qualification from a top institution, 5-15 years of experience in Business strategy/M&A or Business projects, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in a business analysis firm and working in specific sectors like Printing, Industrials, Infrastructure, or Real Estate is advantageous. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management - Define architecture standards, policies, and best practices to ensure secure and compliant IT integrations. - Address regulatory, data privacy, and cybersecurity requirements during M&A transitions. - Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to mitigate risks in technology transitions.
