We are currently looking for a Tax Professional to join our team in India, focusing on responsibilities within the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. As a Tax Professional, your duties will include: - Conducting monthly group closing activities and reviewing journal vouchers at month-end - Preparing Local Financial Statements according to IndAS standards and assisting in coordinating information for Statutory audits with Big4 auditors - Ensuring local compliance in areas such as FEMA, Taxations, etc., by collaborating with business units, shared services, and corporate functions - Providing accounting guidance to stakeholders like business units, controllers, and shared service centers - Assisting in accounting and controlling-related controls audits - Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ERP changes and other tools - Collaborating with shared service centers, business units, and corporate teams for statutory audits and special projects - Analyzing balance sheets and P&L statements to maintain book quality as per management accounting standards - Supporting various ad-hoc tasks such as global projects, digitalization initiatives, and process harmonization Qualifications required for this role: - Professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant with a strong understanding and application of IFRS & IndAS standards in daily accounting - 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in the MNC manufacturing industry - Proficiency in accounting for revenue contracts, forex accounting, provisions, and accruals - Basic knowledge of SAP FICO module, with familiarity in MM & FA modules and SAP HANA technology as a bonus Key Skills for success in this role: - Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and adaptable to changes - Proactive in providing accounting solutions and advising business units on financial matters - Familiarity with finance processes and systems like financial closing, reporting, and SAP tools - Excellent communication skills in English, essential for an international work environment Join us at Siemens Healthineers and be part of a dynamic team fostering excellence and innovation in the APJ region.
