Industry: Telcom / ISP Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent Functional Area: Engineering Software & QA Key Responsibilities: Test telecom signaling systems including STP and SIGTRAN protocols (M2PA, M3UA, MTP, SCCP) Analyze 2G/3G/4G call flows using Wireshark Design and execute functional and performance test cases Log, track, and validate bugs through issue tracking systems Work on Linux-based environments using shell and vi editor Deploy and validate components in VM/Docker environments Collaborate with development and integration teams for test planning (Optional) Validate systems supporting the Diameter protocol Skills & Requirements: 2+ years of telecom protocol testing experience Strong knowledge of telecom signaling stack SIGTRAN, SCCP, MTP Understanding of call flows across multiple generations (2G/3G/4G) Hands-on experience with Wireshark for signaling analysis Good command of Linux CLI and scripting basics Exposure to containerized environments like Docker or VMs Clear communication and analytical skills
