Your key responsibilities in this full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru will include extracting data from Power BI datasets, semantic models, and OLAP cubes. You will connect and transform data using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Lakehouse architecture. Additionally, you will preprocess PDFs, PPTs, and Excel files utilizing tools like Azure Form Recognizer or Python-based solutions. Your role will also involve designing data ingestion pipelines for external web sources, such as commodity prices, and collaborating with AI engineers to provide cleaned and contextual data for vector indexes. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in utilizing Power BI REST/XMLA APIs and expertise in OLAP systems like SSAS and SAP BW, data modeling, and ETL design. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Data Lake is essential, along with familiarity with JSON, DAX, and M queries.
